ROBOTECH

Here's my version of the Male (Zentraedi) and Female (Meltrandei) battle armors from Super Dimension Fortress Macross, which came to us in the states as ROBOTECH.

They're designed as opposites, male and female.
I did these back when our company had the ROBOTECH license and we wanted to make a game. I made drawings and 3D models for a proposal.

"The Kid"

This one is not inked, but hes the last member of the team. Character archetype "The Kid". I envisioned him as a sort of teen hearthrob who's also a sniper.He's a young Lee harvey Oswald, to emphasize the historical aspect of the story.

lately i've been getting into inking my work

these first two, John McJustice and Jack Flash, are meant to represent the character archetypes of Bright hero and Dark Hero respectively. The by-the-book hero and the whatever-works hero. As such, they're conceived as opposites.

The archetypes Cool Chick and Big Guy round out the team.
